1. create a proper css for the site (and fix any ugly in-line or page-specific styling)


2. create a favicon


3. make a functional X button in modal??


4. make cursor change when hovering over modal button/area


5. make custom cursor


6. make door open/light up upon hover?


7. figure out how to properly "end" a modal (to make room for other text if wanted...)


8. just make any progress on living room visuals


9. make a site button?

i suppose this is in order of importance, but any progress is good progress. and i dont care if a functional site is more important than other things on this list, first and foremost i want to have fun!!!

and now the cursor changes properly to "pointer" when you hover over the mailbox! (why in the hell did i not read the CSS section on W3 sooner)

still working on the css, issue is i feel like it would turn out slightly different for each page with the only common thread really being the modal. and i just yoinked all of that from W3. sooooooo

I'm so fucking dumb it's not even funny

all I really want to do now is work on the visuals, and I've been putting it off because I thought that meant using my chromebook (i have a chromebook with a touchscreen i've been using pretty much exclusively for the past.... damn. 6 years? and a laptop i just found from when my mom needed one for the kids for covid) because i didnt know, this entire time, that THIS LAPTOP HAS A TOUCH SCREEN. i wrote out a whole ass comment about how waaaaa I didn't want to use the chromebook anymore. THIS BITCH HAS A TOUCH SCREEN!!!!

just downloaded krita, watched some tutorials, messed around for a bit, and made about 1/3 of the visuals for the living room! not entirely sure what i should do for 2 of them if i do decide to add them, but i have pics for the other 4. once i have EVERYTHING prepared ill mash it all together into one image and then map it for the site. but wahoo! progress

SIKE my power went out so i'm halfway there kachow
